A new site, and the measurement to run it
Citadel EHS, an employee-owned environmental, health, safety and sustainability consulting firm in business since 1993, rebuilt its marketing site and the tracking behind it.
Work from the bench
Situation
Citadel EHS has advised clients on environmental, health, safety and sustainability work since 1993, with offices coast to coast. The firm is also growing by acquisition: in May 2026, Aurora Industrial Hygiene joined Citadel.
Its marketing site, careers listings included, ran on WordPress. The brief was to rebuild the site on a modern stack and put measurement in place, so an enquiry could be traced to the channel that produced it.
The work
- Rebuilt citadelehs.com on Next.js, with service, sector, office and project pages, and moved the live domain onto the new site.
- Moved careers off WordPress and into the new content system, so job openings are managed in one place.
- Wired conversion tracking through Google Tag Manager and GA4 for service inquiries, contact forms, newsletter signups, calls and emails.
- Kept the site moving after launch with ongoing editorial updates, including a redesigned Core Values section and client-directed benefits copy.
