Situation
CodeGreen serves commercial real estate across compliance, environmental, building envelope, inspections, sustainability and fire. It has joined forces with Pinchin, an environmental, engineering, health and safety, and building science consultancy working since 1981.
Joining a platform changes what a company's website has to do. The site needed to keep what already worked for CodeGreen's clients, make the Pinchin relationship clear, and stay in step with the parent's data.
The work
- Rebuilt the homepage on a modern static stack, measured section by section against the existing site so nothing that already worked was lost.
- Sampled the design tokens and type scale from the existing build rather than redesigning from scratch.
- Organised the services around the real estate life cycle, with a page for each phase, from acquisition and due diligence onward.
- Built a local search program: market pages for New York, Boston, Washington, D.C. and Miami, with office-level structured data.
- Drew office and contact details from the same content source Pinchin uses, so CodeGreen's locations stay in step with its parent.
What was built
- A rebuilt homepage matched to the existing site, section by section
- Five real estate life-cycle phase pages
- Four local market pages with office structured data
- A shared services panel and social sharing metadata on every page
