Situation
IWBI administers the WELL Building Standard, a framework for advancing health and well-being in buildings. The standard began as a 400-page document.
Getting a standard adopted at scale takes more than the standard. It takes a platform people can use on their own, a marketing function, and a commercial engine. This was not an EASTONGRING engagement. It is where three of our senior seats learned the work.
The work
- Jennifer Easton was marketing hire number one. As SVP Marketing, she built the team from the ground up across product, digital channels and content.
- Lindsay Jacobs served as SVP, Head of Sales and Marketing, leading the commercialization of the WELL Standard.
- Shane Gring was technology and operations partner across a ten-year engagement, turning the 400-page standard into a self-service platform.
Outcome
The self-service platform serves 300,000 users in 131 countries.
